Fox Rent A Car is a subsidiary of Europcar Mobility Group, a significant player globally in the car rental and mobility markets. Europcar Mobility Group USA's mission is to “change the way you move” by offering attractive solutions for short-term and long-term rentals to US and international travelers to the US.


We are searching for an experienced Director of Marketing to spearhead and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for Europcar and Fox Rent a Car across the United States. The ideal candidate will have a robust marketing executive background, demonstrating a track record of successfully enhancing brand visibility and fostering customer engagement through a blend of digital and traditional media platforms. The Director will be instrumental in translating strategic concepts into actionable initiatives that yield tangible and measurable outcomes. This role offers a unique opportunity to introduce a major international brand to the US market, leveraging innovative marketing approaches to drive growth and market penetration.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to elevate Fox and Europcar's positioning in the US market, focusing on driving brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation to achieve measurable KPIs and maximize ROI for both brands.
  • Global Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Europcar global marketing team to align strategies and execute cohesive marketing plans that resonate with local audiences.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize performance across all marketing channels, utilizing data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve business objectives.
  • Partnership Development: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with travel partners and stakeholders, negotiating beneficial contracts and collaborations to support business growth.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis and develop competitive marketing strategies to maintain and enhance market leadership in the car rental industry.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the implementation of all marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and objectives while tracking and reporting on campaign effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative environment where creativity and excellence thrive.
  • Innovative Initiatives: Drive innovation in marketing initiatives, including digital advertising, social media strategies, and customer engagement programs, to foster brand loyalty and drive customer acquisition.
  • Communication Excellence: Manage all external communications for the company, including press releases, social media presence, and customer communications, maintaining a consistent brand voice and enhancing brand perception.

Education:

  • A BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required, with an MBA degree preferred.

  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated success as a Marketing Director or in senior marketing roles, preferably within car rental, travel, or retail industries, showcasing your ability to lead teams and deliver results.

  • Multichannel Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media) and traditional channels (radio, TV), with experience crafting integrated marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in ROI analysis and performance metrics, with the ability to leverage data to optimize marketing strategies and investment decisions.
  • Collaborative Approach: Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and global counterparts to achieve shared objectives and align strategies.
  • Innovative Mindset: Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for exploring new opportunities and emerging trends in marketing and technology.
  • Communication Proficiency: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
