Description

Are you looking to take on a leadership role in managing client relationships? At IL2000 we are looking for ambitious supply chain professionals to work as logisticians to optimize and maintain focus on a continuous improvement process with clients supporting their order to cash business model. Our teams work through an innovative and collaborative culture to build strategic value. As an organization, we are committed to exceeding our customer expectations.

This position does not require relocation. This is a remote position that requires approximately 20% travel. This role requires an existing understanding of managed freight transportation services with focus on, primarily, LTL but also full truckload and international freight including ocean and air. Applicants without experience will not be considered.

About IL2000

Founded in 1999, IL2000 provides Managed Freight Transportation services resulting in optimized supply chain and logistics performance. IL2000 uses a proven methodology for supply chain and logistics consulting that precedes our Managed Transportation Solution. The IL2000 Managed Transportation Solution is a Saas-based transportation management (TMS) and BI technology bundled with freight management services. Our services include carrier procurement, contracting and score-carding, shipment management and exception reporting, freight audit, dispute and resolution, and continuous improvement consulting leveraging our BI technology. The transportation modes supported include less than truckload (LTL), full truckload, international (import, export, FCL, LCL, and airfreight), and parcel.

About the Role

The Director of Enterprise Account Management is personally accountable for the health of the relationship with the client and achieving revenue targets for existing clients. There is no expectation for winning new clients as the sales team is responsible for new client acquisition. In this role you will lead a team that regularly meets with the client to pro-actively drive a process of continuous improvement. It is a strategic role that requires consulting with the client and aligning their ongoing needs with solutions IL2000 provides. The team serves as fractional logistics mangers for our clients and consults, designs solutions, solves problems and implements solutions to the client with the support of their peers at IL2000; heavily relying on Business Intelligence reporting and data to make business decisions. Fifty percent of the Enterprise Account Managers time is spent reviewing data in the clients BI space to pro-actively identify areas of improvement, and the remaining 50% of the time is spent collaborating with the client to drive additional improvements including freight cost savings, service improvements, or process efficiency.
