Job Description
Director of Construction
Robbins Construction Group is in search of a well-rounded and seasoned construction executive to p[rovide management of commercial project at its office in North Charleston, South Carolina. An established history of operational excellence in overseeing both large- and small-scale construction projects or related industries, along with a decade of leadership experience, is highly desirable.
Responsibility of providing day-to-day leadership and management to the operations team, ensuring their efforts contribute to the overall success of every project while maintaining alignment with the company's strategic vision and objectives.
Hands-on involvement in projects, ensuring proper setup, project planning, subcontractor management, schedule adherence, and alignment to the company's standards, processes, and procedures, is a key aspect of this role.
Enforce policies and procedures, mentoring subordinates, and fostering productive relationships with clients, architects, and engineers throughout both the business development and operations phases.
A solution-oriented mindset, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a methodical, logical approach to addressing issues and obstacles, are essential attributes for this position.
Operations Responsibilities:
Minimum of 15 years of commercial construction experience, including 10 years in leadership positions and proven field experience.
Must have experience overseeing commercial construction projects in the $5M-$40M+ range.

- Oversee the daily operations of Major and Special Projects
- Lead, coach, mentor, train, and manage staff
- Set and ensure achievement of departmental goals
- Develop and implement processes and structure
- Manage revenue through analyzing profitability and finding ways to improve efficiencies
- Be the liaison between the different departments and build innovative teams
- Execute the business plan, implement new strategies, and document processes
- Handle escalated customer complaints
- Implement Continuous Improvement Processes throughout the entire company
- Uphold and communicate core values and vision
