Director of Business Development

Job Description

• Work closely with the Studio Director and Business Development Leads across peer studios to align business development strategy for the region
• Report into the Managing Director for the studio on pitch progress and programmes
• Attend and lead industry networking events, generating new leads and staying on top of market intel within the hospitality and multi-family sectors
• Identify prospective sectors of development beyond hospitality and multi-family
• Produce and deliver proposals to prospective developers and stakeholders
• As the studio grows, you will be overseeing a small team of operational staff who will manage the day to day business development admin duties

Key Skills

• Ideally you will have a degree or qualification in marketing, communications and / or a design related field
• Must have worked in a business development or partnerships strategy role for the design sector previously
• Ideally you will have a strong network across the East and or South Coasts of America
• You must have a genuine passion for the design industry, ideally with experience in high-end, large scale projects
• Must have aspirations to carve out a strategic role within a critically acclaimed studio, with the drive and motivation to do so within a growing studio
• Clear and succinct communicator, a strong team player with ability to collaborate with all team members
