We are looking for a Director of Executive Search who will report to the Global VP of Talent Acquisition. This role involves creating and managing an Executive Search Program Management Office and leading strategic recruitment for key positions across the company.

The Director will work closely with our C-suite and Business HR partners worldwide to understand our executive hiring needs, supporting business growth and performance. They will actively engage with the external job market, identify talent gaps, and build a pipeline of top candidates to address succession planning and capability needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a global in-house executive search capability and team.
  • Leverage data, metrics, and resources, set the vision, strategy, and goals for all aspects of Executive Search.
  • Design and execute effective recruitment processes, practices, and standards that provide white-glove experiences for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Personally execute searches, reduce dependency of external search agency usage
  • Select and manage external search firm partners as needed; negotiate vendor agreements and manage relationships and performance.
  • In collaboration with Total Rewards, design competitive offers to candidates leveraging deep understanding of the market and executive compensation elements.
  • Consult with and advise internal executives on key industry talent trends and best practices.
  • Conduct proactive talent pipelining and sourcing initiatives leveraging industry expertise and relationships, as well as research/mapping, and other creative solutions.
  • Record and assess all executive search agency performance, develop a preferred firm engagement strategy.
  • Establish a centralized executive referral management, tracking and exploratory interviewing process.
  • Develop a structured executive interviewing process that incorporates key competencies, assessment capabilities and feedback forms that are simple, efficient and effective.
  • Design and deliver an executive recruitment experience consistent with our brand promise.
  • Manage full cycle, direct hire, recruiting for all VP and above roles globally, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate and internal hiring community experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of executive recruiting experience.
  • Build and/or lead an in-house executive search program.
  • Proven experience in both an executive retained search agency and an in-house executive search program within a publicly owned, global organization.
  • Understanding of long-term incentives, including stock options, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and performance unit packages.
  • Leadership presence and credibility to interact with C-level executives.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills; diplomatic and tactful.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), along with strong influencing and negotiation abilities.
  • Exceptional assessment and interviewing skills, with a strong command of assessment and selection methodologies, instruments, and processes.
  • Ability to effectively manage global and complex change and shift gears quickly and comfortably.
  • Shows accountability and ownership by measuring performance via metrics and market intelligence.
