Vaco Boston has partnered with our client to hire a Digital Production Specialist to join their team!

In this role you will be transforming print designs into dynamic web-compatible formats.

Where: Remote
Pay: 30-35/hour
Length: 12 month contract

Responsibilities:
  • Convert print designs into dynamic web-compatible formats.
  • Collaborate with Senior Digital Editor to implement designs using HTML and CSS, ensuring proper layout, typography, and styling.
  • Adhere to established design guidelines and collaborate with the digital content team to develop and refine guidelines tailored for web assets.
  • Optimize images for the web to achieve a balance between quality and file size for improved loading times and performance.
  • Ensure web assets follow accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and are optimized for various screen sizes, resolutions, and devices.
  • Conduct thorough QA testing to identify and address design or functionality issues.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in design and development.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.
  • Experience with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and responsive design.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and usability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
  • Formal education or work experience in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field.
  • Proficiency with project management and content authoring tools
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
