Digital Production Designer

Are you a digital designer with expertise of design applications, a strong understanding of brand guidelines, and the ability to coordinate with project managers to execute multiple projects? Our client, a global airline, is seeking an experienced Chicago based Digital Production Designer to directly support the Creative Leader and Art Directors using their direction and guidance to implement design solutions, ensuring project needs are met within given timelines. Creative content will appear on multiple digital channels including internal and external websites, mobile, and digital displays.

Portfolio Note: In order to be considered, candidates must have recent work in a relevant industry, demonstrating strong skills in digital production, expertise in Adobe products, and strong attention to detail. Samples of web, mobile, and digital ads / displays strongly preferred.

You Will:

• Produce production work that will be ongoing, with a ratio of 60% production and 40% design
• Under creative direction from the Creative Leader and Art Directors, produce highly creative and strategic design solutions across multiple channels including internal and external-facing websites, digital displays, and mobile
• Actively participate during brainstorm and strategy meetings with cross-functional teams
• Coordinate closely with the Creative Leader, Art Directors, and Project
• Work within established timelines and strategize workflow
• Be involved in various aspects of creative production, from generating ideas to portraying concepts, creating and refining those concepts, applying layout techniques, creating high fidelity prototypes, illustration of icons or infographics, and other related tasks
  
  

You Have:

• Bachelors degree in Digital Media or related field
• 2+ years of professional design experience, ideally with web, mobile, and digital display samples
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required. Experience in a corporate environment - Sketch, InVision, Figma experience is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfort asking questions and sharing ideas
• Knowledge of Interactive PDFs, ADA compliance, and accessibility preferred
• A positive attitude even under pressure, must be an excellent team player
  
  

Logistics:

• Projected Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 2 month contract with possibility for extension
• Hours/Week: 40 hours per week, 9am – 5pm CST
• Onsite/offsite: Remote, but requires a candidate that is local to the Chicago area
• Background/Drug Screen Check needed? Yes, must clear before contract starts
