Position Summary:

We’re seeking a motivated and creative Digital Graphic Designer to join our team. This role requires proficiency in both digital and traditional graphic design. The ideal candidate will create visually compelling designs across various digital platforms and traditional mediums. This includes designing, art directing, and producing multimedia marketing materials to enhance our online presence, as well as print materials such as brochures, posters, and advertisements. The Digital Graphic Designer will blend creativity with technical proficiency, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt designs effectively to meet digital and print requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to assess project needs and timelines.
  • Design various marketing pieces including but not limited to:
    • Website graphics and layouts
    • Email blasts and social media graphics
    • Printed and digital sales collateral (catalogs, brochures, flyers)
  • Conceptualize marketing executions from strategy to digital mockups and final production
  • Coordinate with external vendors such as photographers and printers, obtaining cost estimates and managing projects.
  • Direct and execute graphic designs for digital marketing, advertising campaigns, and sales materials.
  • Determine layout sizes and styles of type and create sample layouts for approval.
  • Review and enhance layouts as necessary, ensuring high-quality final outputs.
  • Adapt existing marketing designs for diverse executions across websites, email, and social media platforms.
  • Develop creative concepts for photography and videography, including storyboards and shot lists.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to edit, share, and tag photography and videography assets.
  • Manage and upload product content, including photography and videography, to company websites.
  • Execute and edit photography and videography projects as needed.
  • Maintain and curate engaging content for company social media platforms.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting cooperation and teamwork.

  • Perform additional duties as required.

Work Conditions:

  • Primarily office with some warehouse exposure - some areas of the warehouse may not be heated or air-conditioned.

Schedule:

  • Full-time position, Monday-Friday with occasional evenings and weekends as required.
  • Flexible working hours within standard business times (8:00am-5:00pm).
  • Occasional travel to outside markets such as Columbus, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach may be necessary.
  • This role requires on-site presence; remote work options are not available.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in the English language (both written and verbal) is required.
  • Expertise in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and internet software.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc.).
  • Knowledge of large format printing, file packaging for printers, press checks, and color correction.
  • Strong proofreading skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with DSLR cameras, multimedia file preparation, and proficiency in photography and videography, including editing and color correction.
  • Proven track record in creating and managing content for social media platforms.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Mac OS, Microsoft Remote Desktop, Microsoft Outlook, and Calendar programs. Detailed-oriented and keeps organized files of versions, revisions, and final work.
  • Adaptability and openness to change.
  • Successful completion of company background check and drug screen.
  • Must complete a Behavioral and Cognitive Assessment through the Predictive Index.
