Key Responsibilities:
Patient Financing: Manage and coordinate patient financing options, including preparing financial agreements, processing credit applications, and offering flexible payment plans to ensure accessibility to dental care.
Continuous Calls and Follow-ups: Conduct regular follow-up calls to patients regarding treatment plans, financial options, and appointment reminders. Ensure all patient inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
Reporting for Financing: Generate and analyze financial reports related to patient accounts, payment plans, and insurance claims. Provide accurate financial summaries to the management team.
Dental Insurance Expertise: Understand and navigate various dental insurance plans and coverage options. Assist patients in understanding their benefits, and manage insurance claims and pre-authorizations efficiently.
Open Dental Software: Utilize Open Dental software to manage patient records, appointments, treatment plans, and financial information. Ensure all data is accurately entered and maintained.
Financial Understanding: Demonstrate a strong understanding of dental treatment costs, insurance benefits, and financing options. Provide clear and accurate financial information to patients.
Effective Communication: Display excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills to build rapport with patients and ensure a positive patient experience. Handle patient interactions with professionalism and empathy.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Experience with Open Dental: Proven experience using Open Dental software is essential.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial processes, including patient financing, payment plans, and insurance claims.
Insurance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of various dental insurance companies and their policies.
Communication Skills: Exceptional phone etiquette and in-person communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Customer Service Orientation: A patient-focused approach with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
