Database Administrator

A large hotel & hospitality client is looking to hire a contract Database Admin. Please see the description below.

• Execute tasks related to the daily administration and upkeep of database systems.
• This role will concentrate on a major AWS Redshift database project in the cloud and support other significant Redshift systems.
• Responsibilities include handling installations, upgrades, backups, and configurations.
• Collaborate with relevant managers to address issues and assess database system capabilities.
• The position also involves some design and programming using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Experience in big data databases and AWS cloud management is essential.
• Typically, up to five years of relevant experience is required.
