Location: Newark (OH), Orlando (FL), or Miami (FL), FL

Position Type: Full-time, Contract - Corp-to-Corp, Contract - Independent, Contract - W2

Rate: $63/hr 1099/Corp-to-Corp or $59/hr-W2

Job Length: 9 Months

One of Infonet's premier clients has an opening for a Database Administrator.

TERMS: Contract

SCOPE OF WORK

Installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical database systems

Assist in the installation and configuration of database servers

Set up new databases and ensure proper configuration for optimal performance

Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions

Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, indexing, and monitoring

Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data

Ensure data integrity and consistency across databases

Troubleshoot database issues and work to resolve them in a timely manner

Provide support for database-related issues and queries from end-users

Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies

Stay updated with database technology trends and best practices

Required Skills / Experience

2-4 Years’ experience with database administration or related role

2-4 Years with Familiarity with database backup, recovery, and security practices

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
