• Strong ML model hosting experience + Experience utilizing SageMaker to build, train, and deploy ML models into a production-ready hosted environment (20% of the role)
• Knowledge of AWS services (EMR, S3, OpenSearch etc.) and AWS DevOps
• Familiarity with CI/CD best practices and experience with Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps

Job Description

TEKsystems is partnered with a software company in Raleigh that needs to hire a Data Engineer for their flagship product, LexisNexis® Legal & Professional, a leading global provider of information and analytics. Recently LexisNexis has focused on the general availability of Lexis+ AI™ for U.S. customers, a generative AI solution designed to transform legal work. Lexis+ AI delivers trusted results in a familiar, easy-to-use interface with linked hallucination-free legal citations that combine the power of generative AI with proprietary LexisNexis search technology, Shepard’s® Citations functionality, and authoritative content.

Software Engineering Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Python development
• Strong understanding of Python best practices and design patterns
• Experience building scalable, production-ready REST APIs
• Knowledge of API design, testing and documentation
• Experience with Python web frameworks like Flask and FastAPI
• Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD best practices and familiarity with Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps
• Ability to quickly ramp up and contribute to an existing codebase
