Westfalia Technologies, Inc. is growing! We are seeking a skilled Data and Reporting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with SQL, and proficiency in data visualization tools. This role involves extracting and manipulating data, developing reports and dashboards, and collaborating with various teams to support business decision-making processes.
Job Functions
Write, update, and troubleshoot queries to pull data from multiple sources.
Utilize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases, performing data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy.
Conduct regular audits of existing analyses and reports to identify and address any data discrepancies or formatting issues.
Perform ad hoc analysis as requested by team members.
Develop and automate reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Reporting Services, providing insights to support business decision-making processes.
Migrate, maintain, and enhance existing Excel reports, ensuring a seamless transition to modern analysis technology.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics for measuring business performance.
Collaborate with the Sales team to deliver sales analysis to potential clients.
Collaborate with Business Solutions team to design, create, deliver, and support new features with business value.
Update items in a DevOps backlog.
Present findings and insights to stakeholders using data visualizations, presentations, and written reports.
Required Skills / Abilities
Experience with SQL (Microsoft SQL Server).
Experience with reporting software for sharing analysis (Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Excel).
Proven ability to quickly adapt to changing environments, learn, and apply new skills to complex problems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong desire to learn.
Demonstrated ability to learn and understand business processes quickly.
Good collaboration skills.
Works effectively with minimum direction.
Desired Education / Experience
College degree in Information/Computer Sciences, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered instead of a degree.
3+ years of experience in Data Analysis and Reporting or a similar role.
Manufacturing experience is a plus.
Location: Candidates who are located within a 100-Mile Radius of the Westfalia Headquarters will be considered.
