Key Qualifications

Expertise in analyzing large data sets, problem-solving and generating insights that improve user experience for Services.

Experience with data-querying (SQL, etc.), and familiarity with a scripting language for data processing and development (e.g., Python).

Experience working with Tableau or other data visualization technologies and the ability to design striking and informative dashboards and reports.

Strong verbal and written communication and presentations skills to naturally explain difficult technical topics for business partners and leaders to comprehend easily.

High tolerance for ambiguity. Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Experience/interest in working across different global cultures and languages. Knowledge of other languages

Ability to work effectively in a team environment with exceptional interpersonal skills. work cross-functionally with other Apple organizations including product and application development teams.

Willingness to be proactive in bringing new, innovative ideas to the table

Experience with search and recommendations engines a plus

Job Description

This person will drive the generation of insights from raw, unstructured data to improve existing features and explore future directions for world-wide service products. They will tackle difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed.

Define metrics, advocating for changes were needed to access the success of new features.

Accountable for the day-to-day analysis for their market and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Work closely with leadership and engineering teams to help define and prioritize features we need to make the very best products for specific markets and in certain languages.

Drive regular insights reports and presentations

Vet new algorithms and features by creating guidelines, supervising the quality of ratings from external vendors, and providing feedback to the engineers for improvement

Train and lead fellow Analysts, help improve overall team growth.

Education

BA/BS or equivalent industry experience
