Position Summary

The Custom and Commercial Assistant Coordinator will assist the Custom Home Coordinator and the Commercial Sales Advisor with daily responsibilities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Writing up sales orders and purchase orders
  • General Admin work: filing, scanning, typing, and purging.
  • Facilitate service work orders, ordering specific parts and pieces
  • Work cohesively with the coordinators on the delivery, install, and service scheduling process.
  • Utilize vendor software to prepare quotes and bids for jobs
  • Produce electronic communication bi-weekly on product availability direct to customers
  • Provide electronic filing inspection on proper naming/document placement
  • Attend custom home and commercial meetings
  • Gather required documents for proper bid submittals and follow-up
  • Contact vendors on status of materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

  • Basic knowledge of general office procedures, computers and other equipment. Experience with Microsoft Applications including Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent polite and persuasive communication skills.
  • Passionate, hard worker and well-organized professional with power to prioritize and multitask.
  • Should exert sound judgment, discretion and preserve confidentiality.
  • Ability to meet and exceed deadlines.
  • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
