McColm is preparing to support projects with the Department of State, Bureau of Political Military Affairs (PM), Global Peacekeeping Operations Initiative (GPOI) in Chad, Tanzania, Togo, Malawi, Uganda, and Zambia to strengthen the effectiveness of the United Nations (UN) and regional peace operations by enhancing partner countries' capacities to prepare, deploy, and sustain peacekeepers and reinforcing UN and regional organizations' performance and accountability frameworks.
These positions are contingent on contract awards.
McColm is seeking Country Project Manager candidates for projects in Chad, Malawi, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, and Zambia. The responsibilities of the Country Project Manager include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following duties:

McColm is seeking Country Project Manager candidates for projects in Chad, Malawi, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, and Zambia. The responsibilities of the Country Project Manager include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following duties:
- Serve as the principal point of contact for contract performance issues and communications between the Department of State and the McColm program team
- Responsible for directing all aspects of contract management and services to enable the McColm to successfully meet all contract performance objectives and requirements
- Conduct supervision and oversight of in-country team lead and technical and specialty trainers
- Conduct routine development, revision, supervision, and quality assurance of all POIs and training materials for training delivered in country.
- U.S. Citizen
- Active security clearance at the SECRET-level or above.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience conducting foreign security force (military or police) capacity building at the tactical and/or operational level and below.
- Relevant military operations or foreign security force (police or military) capacity building experience or program management experience in the last five (5) years.
- Minimum of five (5) years of increasing responsibility as a program or project manager or a team leader in the field of security force capacity building or in a directly related area.
- Directly related experience with standard contract, financial, and management practices and procedures within the field of overseas programming.
- Training or operational experience (military or civilian) in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Preferred: experience in Chad, Malawi, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, or Zambia
