We are seeking a qualified attorney to join our team and support our company with title examination and other title-related matters in the state of Florida. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for real estate law, we would love to hear from you!
What You Will Be Doing:
Title Examination: Examine public records, abstracts of title, leases, contracts, and other legal documents to determine land ownership and lien position of residential property.
Document Drafting: Draft legal documents regarding property ownership and provide opinions on title.
Legal Interpretation: Interpret and provide advice on title-related issues.
Title Claims: Review and assist with title claims.
Legal Research: Research deeds, filings, and other title-related legal requirements.
Communication: Communicate with title companies regarding processing and procedural issues.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Document Editing: Edit legal documents for accuracy.
Team Support: Provide support and assistance to members of the Legal team.
What We Need From You:
Credentials: Admission to the Florida State Bar, Bachelor's and J.D. degrees.
Experience: 3+ years of in-depth experience with title examination and review.
Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the title process.
Improvement: Commitment to continuous business improvement.
Collaboration: Capable of working closely with internal clients and meeting internal SLAs.
Skills: Effective planning, organizational, and project management skills.
Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Independence: Ability to work independently.
Problem Solving: Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Teamwork: Self-motivated and able to work well in a team-based environment.
