Summary And Scope
The Quality Management Systems Manager is responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with the business requirements and required industry standards, conducting internal audits, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see, hear, sit for extended periods, stand, walk, engage in repetitive motions, and use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, tools, or controls. May lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
Expected Hours of Work
The ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends will be required based on contract needs. It is expected for this position to attend regular meetings during typical work hours in Eastern Standard Time as well as meetings as needed for assigned projects in other time zones.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and field environments. We operate 24/7/365, inside and outside, in all weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smart phones, tablets, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other presentation materials. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.
Travel
This position requires up to 30% travel. Travel is dependent on contract load. The ability to travel to job sites and be away for extended periods of time based on contract needs is required. Short notice travel is required with 24-48 hours’ notice.

Summary And Scope
The Quality Management Systems Manager is responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with the business requirements and required industry standards, conducting internal audits, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Maintain and adjust a robust QMS framework that integrates seamlessly with our operational procedures and aligns with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Facilitate compliance with documentation standards by optimizing existing processes to satisfy audit criteria without altering established business practices.
- Guide diverse teams towards unified objectives through influential leadership, without the need for formal authority.
- Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) remains streamlined and user-friendly while also being responsible for the upkeep of the QMS documentation.
- Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes. Introduce new processes and procedures where appropriate.
- Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 standards across all departments. Manage all external QMS registration requirements to ensure they are met.
- Act as the liaison between the company and external bodies on all matters related to registration.
- Lead comprehensive training sessions for staff across all levels on the aspects of the QMS and its applications.
- Equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to utilize the QMS effectively in their daily operations.
- Be aware of and understand changes in standards, regulations, and updates to quality standards and requirements.
- Conduct regular internal and process audits of the QMS.
- Facilitate and support audits conducted by Third Parties and Certification Bodies.
- Manage audit non-conformity database and ensure timely resolution of any non-conformities. Develop strategies to prevent recurrence of issues and enhance the overall quality of processes.
- Ensure all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy customer, business and audit requirements.
- Manage the document control process and database.
- Develop and maintain practices to ensure all internal systems and supporting procedures are reviewed and revised as necessary to meet the needs of the company and external certification bodies.
- Develop key metrics and report on the performance of the QMS to top management and other stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on audit results, feedback from stakeholders, and analysis of performance data.
- Maintain a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills And Specifications
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; loves thinking outside the box and situation unique solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Adept at navigating and simplifying complex corporate jargon.
- Experience in training and mentoring staff on quality practices.
- Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements related to quality management.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver quality training programs.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in quality management.
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field, required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management systems, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent professional certification, preferred.

Work Authorization
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, occupational health physical and lift test (if applicable), credit check (if applicable), and a background check upon accepting a conditional offer of employment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license. Have/maintain a clean driving record.
