Kforce has a client adding a Corporate Development Principal their team in Phoenix, AZ. Reporting to the CFO, The Corporate Development Manager will play a pivotal role in defining and executing their corporate development strategy. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, shape their growth trajectory, and contribute to their long-term success. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Opportunity Identification: Identify and evaluate potential strategic opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and investments, aligned with their business objectives
Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential targets, assessing their financial, operational, and strategic fit with our organization
Deal Structuring: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and negotiate transactions, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
Financial Analysis: Perform detailed financial analysis, including valuation models and pro forma financial statements, to assess the financial impact of potential transactions
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities that could impact our corporate development strategy
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential partners, target companies, and industry stakeholders
Integration Planning: Collaborate with post-transaction teams to develop integration plans that ensure a seamless transition and capture synergies
Reporting: Provide regular updates and presentations to senior management and the board of directors on the status of corporate development initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus
Proven experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, or strategy consulting
Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to create and evaluate complex financial models
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information
Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
