The Detroit Regional Chamber in Detroit, MI is looking to hire a talented individual for a full time Engagement Coordinator is responsible for executing the Chamber's established customer engagement and retention strategy for all assigned accounts, communicating the Chamber's value proposition to all customers and providing exceptional customer service.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR

In this position, you play a vital role in the operations of our nonprofit as you manage the membership roster making notes and adjusting the information within our system as needed. You ensure Chamber communications are reaching the customer based on their interests and updating all records in CRM management system. You will work closely with the Director, Customer Data in identifying members whose information is not current, updating the internal database with any change and assisting with annual account verification.

Qualifications For a Customer Engagement Coordinator

  • 1-3 years of experience working in a business environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with general computer skills and familiarity with databases is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Are you a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently? Do you possess the skills and abilities to build a client relationship while providing high-level customer service? Do you have the ability to manage multiple relationships and projects? If yes, you might just be perfect for this position.

WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR

This position is full-time and typically works Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. In this role you will occasionally attend early morning and/or evening networking events throughout Southeastern Michigan. There are also opportunities to work from home.
