We are actively seeking a highly skilled Finance and Accounting Professional to become an integral part of our Finance Consulting Practice at MMC Consulting. With this opportunity, you will play a pivotal role in client services, seamlessly integrating into our clients' teams and projects. Your main objective will be to deliver specialized finance and accounting support and tailoring solutions to meet the unique needs of their organization.

As a Finance & Accounting Consultant, an MMC leader will supervise and mentor you. With their support, you will serve clients in finance & operations. Your responsibilities will be related to financial statement review, process improvement, reconciliations, financial statements, and general accounting support. Job Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in accounting or related field
• Prior firm experience working on projects/engagements preferred but not required
• Public accounting experience is preferred but not required
• 6+ years of years of professional experience
• Relevant experience in multiple industries is preferred
• Thorough working knowledge of accounting software and systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to make client recommendations and propose solutions
• Quickbooks experience expected
• CPA certification encouraged but not required

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain knowledge of the client’s organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards
• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results
• Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
• Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
• Managing the budget
• Evaluating accounting and internal control systems
• Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
• Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
• Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance

Compensation:

• $90,000 - $120,000 depending on qualifications
• Billing Bonus Opportunity & Utilization Bonuses
