Consultant, Consumer Engagement, Go-to-Market | Global Beauty Company

OBJECTIVE

We are seeking a member of the Consumer Engagement team to support the strategy, content, and activation of marketing programs on a global scale. Reporting to the Executive Director of Consumer Engagement, the primary role of the Consultant is to successfully manage 360 Go-To-Market programs from start to finish, collaborating closely with a diverse cross-functional team to ensure timely delivery of campaign milestones and best-in-class activations.


The role requires strong communication skills, immaculate attention to detail, and the ability to project-manage multiple workstreams on tight timelines. This individual needs to be a strong collaborator and a process-oriented, creative thinker as they will be expected to work productively with all cross-functional departments from briefing stage through to execution. This individual will also need to partner closely with our APAC and China teams on top regional programs and key shopping moments to enable successful activation at the local level.


Please note, this role is temporary starting September lasting for approximately 6 months.


KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Go-to-Market Strategy and Development

  • Own Global Key Shopping Moments, including: Holiday, D11, 618, Lunar New Year, Love Moments (Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Chinese Valentine’s Day, I Love You Day)
  • Own Global Hero Franchises: Vitamin Enriched Face Base and Soothing Cleansing Oil and all other skincare programs.
  • Lead go-to-market process for all programs, (i.e. Creative Brief, Asset Checklist, Go-to-Market Toolkit) and timelines for assigned programs
  • Integrate competitive analysis, ratings and reviews and digital/social metrics into creative briefs to focus messaging and clearly articulate product POD
  • Strive for efficient delivery through impeccable partnership with cross-functional teams. Collect and understand individual channel needs and then consolidate all asset needs to ensure the proper support for each channel, cohesive storytelling execution and delivery
  • Actively engage in discussions on risk management, problem-solving, and process improvements when timelines deviate, proactively trouble-shooting and bringing solutions to Director.
  • Create and present competitive and industry content executions, constantly bringing in fresh ideas and inspiration from external activation for content creation, storytelling and activation excellence
  • Act as liaison with Creative, Creative Operations and Production team to align on asset needs and timelines. Work with the Creative team to ensure that the assets created align with individual channel strategy while cohesively laddering up into the overarching campaign
  • With support of Executive Director, own relationship with China Regional team; including bi-annual local shooting with China ambassador, China-specific programs and asset requests.
  • Support the Executive Director, Consumer Engagement in ad hoc program requests and initiatives
  • Attend key regional monthly meetings, capture notes and next steps and assist in cascading information to the rest of the Consumer Engagement team


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-4+ years of related experience
  • Strong project management skills and impeccable attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills, whether it be in person, through digital tools or via presentations
  • Ideal candidate will be self-directed and have good business judgment and quick learner with high energy level. Capable of thinking out of the box, while being strategic and analytical with a passion to win
  • Proactive with the ability and maturity to manage a multitude of projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships and gain the respect of members of the cross-functional and affiliate teams
  • Comfort level with regular interactions with senior management and regional teams
