Reos Partners has offices on three continents. This Consultant will be working with the North American office, which has staff working remotely across US and Canada. About the Opportunity


Reos Partners is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic associate-level consultant to support our high-impact client projects that address a variety of complex social challenges through systems change and collaboration.


Reos Partners is seeking a skilled Consultant to support all aspects of our client projects, including consulting, project execution, client coordination, and follow-up. The Consultant would learn and deliver frameworks to inform process design and effective project strategy (i.e.: systems thinking, leverage points, etc.) and serve as a collaborative and critical member of client project teams. Using their own expertise and experience and under the guidance of Project Leads, the Consultant helps drive success toward specific goals and outcomes for client projects. As they progress, the Consultant will have the opportunity for cross-functional learning and gain exposure to other areas of our consulting business, such as sales, proposal-writing, and relationship-building.


This position requires an individual who is highly motivated, independent, professional, enthusiastic, eager to learn and be part of a fast-paced, creative company with a social mission to promote systems change.


Responsibilities


  • Support with the design, facilitation, and delivery of high-stakes virtual and in-person multi-stakeholder events, processes, and platforms
  • Work with stakeholders, clients, and funders to co-create strategies for systemic change
  • Develop proficiency with tools, frameworks, and processes used in Reos’ approach to working in collaborative, systemic, and experimental ways
  • Conduct the required research, data gathering, analysis, and writing in support of client engagements
  • Produce high-quality slide decks, reports, and other internal and external-facing products
  • Assist with project administration tasks, including scheduling client meetings and organizing logistics for in-person and Zoom meetings
  • Develop and build strong, trusting relationships with project participants, clients, and other partners
  • Work collaboratively on project teams to support the execution of client delivery
  • Provide excellent service delivery in such a way that builds Reos’ reputation for superior service
  • Execute administrative tasks related to client travel, time tracking, project management, knowledge management


Qualifications


  • 1-2 years of experience in consulting or a related field (e.g. systems thinking, facilitation, organizational development)
  • Ability to work collaboratively on project teams and develop respectful, effective working relationships through active listening, constructive feedback, and a positive attitude
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize interviews and multiple sets of information
  • A desire to give and receive feedback constructively
  • Ability to communicate clearly and compellingly (ideas, concepts, strategies, plans, etc.)
  • Eager to contribute to building a dynamic, growing, high-impact organization
  • Proficient and successful at working both on a team and independently
  • Detail-oriented and able to efficiently follow through on tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to flexibly adjust priorities when necessary and occasionally work under pressure
  • Professional demeanor towards duties and responsibilities, particularly with regard to independence, ethics, and the exercise of professional judgment
  • You have a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity in the workplace
  • Comfortable with the Mac platform and a wide range of software, including Google Suite (Mail, Calendar, Drive), Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to become familiar with firm-specific software
  • Prior experience in facilitation and collaborative approaches to effecting change is preferred
  • Experience working on broad-scale systemic issues (e.g. climate, education, governance, health) is highly preferred, not mandatory
  • Proficiency in French or Spanish is highly desired, not required


Working Conditions


This job requires the employee to work virtually on a laptop that Reos will provide. As our clients are located all over the world, this position requires travel to client sites as needed (highly variable; on average 25% time). Staff meet face-to-face once or twice a year for retreats.
