Initiating a search for a Chief Financial Officer (Not-For-Profit / Hybrid) for a well-established, successful & growing not-for-profit organization to lead all aspects of their accounting/finance department. Position will lead a smaller-sized team of experienced professionals, be part of the senior leadership team and be instrumental in helping to identify and capture value-added financial, operational and strategic opportunities. Position responsibilities include:
Oversee/manage all transactional accounting, month-end close/financial reporting and cash management
Oversee/manage all financial (and some operational) analysis (including budget/actual, forecasting/projections, KPI’s, dash-boarding, etc.)
Oversee/manage a number of compliance areas (e.g. external audit, etc.)
Management/development of a mid-sized team of accounting/finance professionals
Process improvement/reengineering (people, process, technology)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
CPA (strongly preferred)
10+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience
Some experience in the not-for-profit sector
Strong business/finance acumen
Strong supervisory/management skills
Executive level/C-Suite exposure/experience
Strong communication skills
