Overview

We are hiring for a Chief Financial Officer for an industry-leading franchisor, responsible for overseeing the Accounting Department, providing input on core strategic initiatives, and overseeing all aspects of the Company’s financial success.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and auditing.
• Responsible for financial reporting, cash management reporting, compliance reporting, accounts payable reporting
• Overall responsibility for the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions of the Company and subsidiaries
• Oversees duties of the Accounting Manager and Accounting Team
• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements and make recommendations to executive management for financial strategies.
• Responsible for reporting to financial institutions and ensuring the Company’s compliance with debt covenants.
• Manage the annual budgeting process and provide financial projections/performance updates to the Board of Directors on a scheduled cadence.
• Manage the annual external audit by providing schedules and other information requested.
• Develop a deep understanding of the Company's performance drivers and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on initiatives that will impact the Company’s financial performance.
• Ensure that all accounts are reconciled monthly.
• Provide & manage financial KPIs for the organization to meet its objectives.
• Perform technical research and implement policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all financial functions.
• Ensure timely reporting and payment of federal, state, franchise, property, and sales and use taxes.
• Execute special projects and core initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned by the CEO.
• Willingness to work onsite in the Company’s Dallas headquarters on most, if not all day.
  
  

Qualifications

• Requires an accounting degree.
• CPA or MBA required.
• Experienced Financial leader with 10+ years of showing progressive responsibilities.
• Extensive experience in a senior financial management role, with a demonstrated history of success.
• History of collaboration with an executive management team to drive strategic initiatives/projects.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated technical skillset, including, but not limited to, data analysis, risk management, and financial forecasting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, financial management software, and a demonstrated ability to learn other application programs, as needed.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently and produce results promptly.
