Alibaba.com, the original business within Alibaba Group, is one of the largest B2B marketplaces worldwide. It connects over 10 million active buyers and suppliers across 180 countries and regions, covering 40 major product categories.

We're seeking a full-time B2B buyer channel expansion and management professional to help expand our North American buyer business. The ideal candidate is an experienced growth expert who can identify new opportunities with both new and existing customers. Candidates with a proven track record in successfully acquiring buyers for e-commerce companies are preferred. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with solid relationship skills.

As a buyer growth expert, you'll work in a startup environment and gain valuable business experience at one of the world's largest companies. You'll embrace aggressive goals, challenges, and new opportunities. Success in this role requires team collaboration and the ability to multitask across product, marketing, and BD teams in various locations and time zones.

Job Requirements

- Deeply understand business buyers' motivations and needs to build and execute differentiated growth strategies for various buyer segments, focusing on the US market.

- Build relationships with business partners and identify opportunities for new and existing buyers through partnerships.

- Drive team deliverables by finding opportunities for buyer growth, enhancing benefits to increase retention, and streamlining the buying process.

- Engage with SMB and enterprise customers to understand their requirements and match them with our services. Collaborate with multiple teams to align our product roadmaps with business customer needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $148,800/year and $246,000/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
