As a Capture Manager at AOC Connect, you will play a pivotal role in driving our success in the federal space by managing capture efforts, directing proposals, and overseeing proposal management activities including:
Capture Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive capture strategies for federal IT and telecom opportunities, aligning with organizational goals and customer needs
Opportunity Identification: Identify and evaluate potential federal contract opportunities, staying abreast of industry trends, government priorities, and upcoming procurements
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and teaming partners
Proposal Direction: Lead and direct the preparation of high-quality proposals, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, compliance with regulations, and adherence to deadlines
Proposal Management: Oversee the end-to-end proposal management process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce winning proposals
Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough competitive analysis to inform capture strategies and position AOC Connect as a strong contender in the federal marketplace
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks associated with capture efforts, developing, and implementing risk mitigation strategies
Cost Estimation: Collaborate with finance and pricing teams to develop accurate cost estimates and pricing strategies that ensure competitiveness and profitability
Client Engagement: Engage with federal clients to understand their needs, address inquiries, and build strong relationships that enhance AOC Connect's standing in the federal market
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in capture management and business development in the federal marketplace, with a focus on IT or telecommunications contracts
Strong understanding of federal acquisition process and regulations, including FAR and DFAR
Demonstrated success in leading capture efforts for large, complex federal contracts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing and delivering presentations to senior managements and government officials
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
