The primary purpose of this role is to generate new business for the renewable energy team through prospecting, outside calling, networking and referrals. In addition, the position will also require some relationship and portfolio management skills.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Business Development: Lead new transaction development and execution across a range of structured finance product offerings from client origination through structuring and closing. Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time. 70%
2. Maintain a working knowledge of commercial loans, business deposit products, cash management and collaborate with various teams throughout the organization. 30%
Minimum Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred with 5-7 years of business development experience in a bank in the renewable energy space
Prior experience originating/structuring and closing solar transactions.
Strong analytical, quantitative, modeling and credit analysis skills
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Ability to interact with senior management both internally and externally
Proficiency in MS Office Platform, nCinos, financial calculator, internet
