We are urgently seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in Property and Casualty Insurance for a critical role based in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements in the Property and Casualty Insurance domain.
Conduct detailed analysis of current business processes and systems related to insurance policies, claims processing, underwriting, and risk management.
Define and document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, discuss solutions, and provide updates on project progress.
Perform gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Assist in the testing and validation of software applications related to insurance operations.
Provide support during implementation and post-implementation phases, ensuring smooth transition and adoption of new systems or processes.
Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in Property and Casualty Insurance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Property and Casualty Insurance sector, with a strong understanding of insurance products, policies, and regulations.
Solid knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools.
Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, creating user stories, and conducting stakeholder interviews.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) and familiarity with Agile methodologies are preferred.
