Position Summary: The Business Analyst will work collaboratively with the CHIPS, EPN, and SVPCO Product Management Team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting industry and market research, related analysis, and reporting, as well as providing analytical support on key industry initiatives. This role will require independent retrieval, validation and analysis of key data points that will assist in the product forecasting and planning processes for the wire and check image exchange business lines.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree
2 - 3 years professional experience within financial services/payments industry; banking background preferred
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Strong analytical, critical thinking and statistical skills
Ability to recognize trends, evaluate options and propose relevant solutions for management’s approval
Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle multiple work assignments simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications Desired
Experience in market trend and data analysis
Experience with the development of marketing reports/modeling helpful
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Perform market research to identify and retrieve data and develop/update industry trend reports
Provide analytical support for product related projects; may require interaction with Operations, Technology and Project Management Teams
Use discretion and judgment to identify options for further evaluation, collaborate with management to validate use of analytic results, and how best to apply findings
Prepare and present analysis results in Excel and/or PowerPoint
Develop additional product and market analysis and reporting as needed
Physical demands and work environment: The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. The position will require two to three days onsite. Additional travel to client meetings, conferences and other events will be required.
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $85,000-$95,000. Base salary will be determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. For eligible positions, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded contingent on personal and company performance.
