About the Opportunity:

FedTec is hiring a Business Analyst with 2-4 years of experience, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, document requirements, and ensure that proposed solutions align with business objectives.

Position: Business Analyst

Work Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid)

Client: AmeriCorps

Security: Must be able to obtain (Public Trust) Clearance

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather necessary information.
• Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Develop process maps and diagrams to visualize workflows and identify bottlenecks.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and propose effective business solutions. Develop detailed specifications and business requirements documents.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
• Serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
• Develop test plans and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet requirements. Document test results and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools (e.g., process mapping, data analysis).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with product development methodologies and tools is a plus.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira or equivalent
