We have an exciting opportunity to join the Angelic Health team as a Biller.
Primary Responsibilities
The Biller is responsible for the billing of all practice management (palliative and primary) medical claims to third parties including, but not limited to, Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs, private insurances and private pay sources. This includes covering all processes through the entire revenue cycle–from preparing items prior to claim submission such as posting the notice of election in Medicare, verification of insurance coverage (as required) to billing (in batch or by individual claim); posting payments; doing follow-up collections for outstanding accounts receivable; and running all related reports on an ongoing basis. The Biller maintains required billing records, reports, and files.
Education And Experience
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience:
At least three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in Medicare/Medicaid billing required with third party payer reimbursement experience.
Office management/accounts receivable background preferred within an accounting office setting.

Hybrid/Remote position. Will need to report to office occasionally for meetings.
