Arlo Chicago is seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving delicious drinks to our guests while ensuring exceptional service and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a full-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $9.86 per hour, paid bi-weekly. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
Responsibilities
Greet and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
Take drink orders and make recommendations to guests based on their preferences
Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beer, and wine in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
Ensure guests’ needs and requests are met promptly and in a courteous manner
Adhere to all company and state alcohol policies and laws
Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests
Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience as a bartender in a fast-paced hospitality/restaurant environment
Knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and their ingredients
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid bartender’s license
High school diploma or equivalent
