A financial firm is looking for an AWS Cloud Architect to join their team in Reston, VA.

Pay: $100-120/hr

This candidate will be working on API products - enterprise architecture - tech documentation, visualization, working with product owners, huddles, etc. working with technical stakeholders to get through governance, meeting customers needs,

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 8 years of software development, solutions architect, or architect experience
  • At least 8 years of experience designing, developing, and architecting enterprise systems
  • At least 8 years of experience in application architecture, design patterns, and cloud patterns

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience with architectural patterns, building APIs, microservices, and high throughput systems
  • 8+ years building cloud native architectures, architecting enterprise applications on AWS
  • 10+ years architecting resilient and reliable back-end systems in production
  • 2+ years’ experience leveraging DevOps and CI/CD pipeline solutions using tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, AWS CloudFormation templates, and GitHub (nice to have)
