AWS Architect

AWS Architect. Must Live in Eastern Time Zone USA. Detroit preferred.

Our client's Tech Solutions Division is seeking a custom software development architect and thought leader who is passionate about leading teams to create exceptional customer solutions. You will assist the team and customers by architecting, designing, and developing custom software using modern, cloud-first technologies and approaches. The right candidate will have the passion and drive to listen to customers' needs, craft solutions, create roadmaps for those solutions, and deliver outstanding customer service. You should expect to work with a team of experts and help lead and contribute to that team.

A software development background (computer science) is a MUST for this role. The candidate must also have a strong track record of helping teams deliver modern web, mobile, and integration solutions using the cloud, modern tools, frameworks, essential products, and agile methods.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing systems using various modern technologies. This position is for an Amazon AWS Software Architect with experience creating solutions using multiple services from the AWS cloud. This includes familiarity with the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework and AWS DevOps CDK, working with containers, implementing security using tools like OAuth 2, and more. Other relevant tools and languages include Node.js, Java, AWS Lambda, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.
