SUMMARY:
At Crossroads, we are on a mission to chase after people and introduce them to God in a way they understand. As a FOH (Front of House) Audio Engineer, you will be crucial in creating an immersive and impactful audio experience for our worship services and events. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence, authenticity, and the relentless pursuit of growth.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Audio Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Live Sound Mixing - Operate and manage the Front of House audio console during worship services, special events, and productions to ensure high-quality audio for in-person audiences.
Training and Development - Train and mentor audio technicians to enhance their skills and contribute to the overall excellence of Crossroads productions.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot audio equipment, including but not limited to microphones, amplifiers, speakers, and digital audio consoles, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
Collaboration - Work closely with the Worship and Production teams to understand the audio needs for various events and services, providing technical support and expertise. Then implementing the stage layout and cable/mic runs for execution of that event.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of audio engineering. Your experience should showcase your ability to create immersive mixes that engage and inspire large-scale (1,500+) audiences. Familiarity with industry-standard equipment, including DiGiCo or Yamaha consoles and Waves plugins, is essential to excel in this role.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in operating digital audio consoles and signal processing equipment.
Strong knowledge of audio signal flow, sound reinforcement, and acoustics.
Experience with audio recording and post-production techniques.
Familiarity with audio software and plugins including ProTools, Logic, or Reaper.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly.
Leadership Skills
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other team members.
Ability to lead and train volunteer audio technicians.
Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Interpersonal Skills
Passion for ministry and a solid commitment to the mission and values of Crossroads.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Performs effectively under pressure, and against strict time constraints
Must be able to walk up to 3 miles, standing, climbing, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching as duties required
