Tate’s Bake Shop is looking for a new key member for the Marketing Team. The Associate Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow the Tate’s brand and drive sales. This role will act as an expert in the category, competitive set, and Tate’s product lines, leading performance analyses that drive actionable insights. As the Associate Brand Manager, you will also execute Tate’s commercial projects in partnership with the Commercialization Project Manager - including product renovation, Price Pack Architecture, innovation, and packaging changes.

What can you expect on the job?

  • Own performance tracking of Tate’s product lines, competitors, and category, conducting monthly consumption analysis and communicating learnings to Leadership.
  • Lead monthly deep dives and ad-hoc analysis, translating consumption data, consumer. insights, competitive intel, and category trends into actions that accelerate Tate’s growth.
  • Manage multiple commercial projects, in partnership with Commercialization PMO, to deliver Tate’s revenue and Margin goals - including new pack sizes and formats, product renovation, and packaging changes.
  • Support Marketing Director in developing 3Y Portfolio Strategy, cultivating deep understanding of retailer dynamics and helping identify new PPA opportunities.
  • Lead innovation performance tracking post-launch (ACV/velocity) and identify gaps to plan.
  • Monitor and report on industry and consumer trends that could inform new innovation.
  • Commercialize Tate’s innovation projects through Stage Gate process, partnering with cross-functional team from approved concept to launch.
  • Measure effectiveness of A&C activity, reporting on insights in Monthly Business Update and working with Marketing Director & Demand Planning to sharpen business forecast assumptions.

What should you bring?

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or Business required
  • Minimum 3 years in CPG Marketing or Lifestyle Brand Marketing required, ideally with experience commercializing PPA and/or innovation.
  • Experience working with syndicated consumption data (SPINS, Nielsen, IRI).

Role Location

  • Remote
  • Approximately 20% travel as needed (to Long Island NY, East Hanover NJ or to key stakeholder meetings or strategic offsites)

Compensation And Benefits

  • $85,000 - $95,000 annual salary with 7% bonus eligibility
