Job Description

What will you work on?

The Associate Brand Manager, Plush is responsible for product development and marketing for the GUND brand. The role specifically manages driving initiatives for the GUND Core Baby lines. You will work cross-functionally with brand leads and Product Development, Design and Packaging to deliver best-in-class products. The role supports the Senior Brand Manager on creating and driving GUND brand strategy.

How will you create impact?

• Prepare new product-start documents, product costing and turn over transmittals, packaging and design briefs
• Develop and execute marketing and brand strategies and implement plans for the GUND brand
• Support all marketing activities (partnering with US marketing) across digital and social media, video production, eCommerce, packaging, branding, public relations, and trade shows
• Assist in research and analysis for the business unit including pricing, costing, profitability analysis, digital marketing analysis, competitive analysis, and sales analysis
• Support Senior Brand Manager with brand, marketing and strategy initiaitives
• Conduct category and consumer research
• Present new product launches to internal sales team and retailer partners
  
  

What are your skills and experience?

• Consumer product brand management experience in a new product-oriented industry, preferably working with toy, entertainment, fashion, electronics, or other pop culture products
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize work while meeting critical deadlines
• Strong knowledge of PCs and software including: MS Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point
• Bonus points for experience working on ecomm/DTC driven brands
  
  

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in New York City is $75,000 to $80,000 per annum. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
