Job Description

:Human Touch Health is seeking a motivated and proactive Recruiting Assistant to join our team in Falls Church, Virginia. Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Recruiting, the Recruiting Assistant will provide essential support in all aspects of the recruitment process, contributing to the acquisition of top talent to meet the staffing needs of our growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Candidate Sourcing: Collaborate with the Regional Director of Recruiting to identify and attract qualified candidates through various sourcing channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Resume Screening: Review resumes and applications, conduct initial screenings, and assist in assessing candidate qualifications and fit for open positions, providing recommendations to the hiring team as needed.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews, meetings, and other recruitment-related activities, liaising with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a seamless and positive interview experience for all parties involved.
  • Candidate Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates, answering inquiries, and delivering a high level of customer service to promote a positive candidate experience.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including collecting required documentation, facilitating background checks, and coordinating orientation sessions, in collaboration with HR and hiring managers.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data in the applicant tracking system (ATS), including candidate profiles, interview feedback, and hiring status updates, to track recruitment metrics and support reporting needs.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Regional Director of Recruiting, including organizing files, preparing reports, and assisting with special projects or initiatives to enhance recruitment effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Will accept candidates who are working towards these degrees with previous experience with customer service, call centers, or volunteer experience with human resources and/or recruiting.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, human resources, or administrative support role is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or other HR software platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
