Job Summary

The Role works under limited direction/supervision and is responsible to provide technical support, training and additional technical tasks. Training would focus on the use of Huntron equipment and software for electronic PCB troubleshooting and test. Training locations include our factory and customer’s facilities.

Essential Functions

  • Great people skills and being able to answer technical questions and find solutions to customer issues.
  • Be comfortable in presenting subjects in front of small groups.
  • Read schematic drawings; Use of test equipment for testing and troubleshooting assembled electronic printed circuit boards.
  • Applying knowledge of electronic theory.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a related field, or equivalent educational experience
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of methods and procedure in test and troubleshooting PCBs. Familiarity with PCB flow through a test and repair environment; Working knowledge of computer systems.
  • Skills: Good oral expression and comprehension (communicate through speech so others will understand and listen to and understand information and ideas presented through speech); Good written expression and comprehension (communicate in English through writing so others will understand and read and understand information and ideas presented in English through writing)
  • Abilities: Ability to learn new test software and equipment and to identify abnormal conditions in equipment and product; Ability to work in multiple software systems, including MS Office and ERP systems
  • Education/Certification: Degree in Electronic or Robotic Technology, or equivalent knowledge through experience or other recognized educational institution

Eligibility Requirement: This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US citizen will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of practical application of engineering electronics, science, and technology including applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, robotics, processors, components, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
  • Relocation assistance available.

Over time, Huntron has added robotic automation to help deal with the increase in board complexity and help users save valuable time. The current Access Prober product line can decrease test times tenfold when compared to manual methods.

The expertise Huntron gained with developing robotic probers has allowed us to help customers automate their custom test processes such as guided DMM and oscilloscope measurements. We are continuing these efforts by designing and building open architecture, custom flying probe systems that can be customized to fit your needs.
