What You Will Do

  • Lead Product Development: From ideation to release, you will lead each step of the product development process, rapidly prototyping and delivering scalable solutions.
  • Evolve Architecture: Define and continuously improve the architecture and design of consumer-facing experiences using clean architecture principles.
  • Ensure Quality: Advocate for and implement high-quality, resilient, and fault-tolerant products.
  • Mentorship: Actively contribute to the growth of team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver a holistic mobile experience.

About You

  • Educated and Experienced: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with at least 5 years of experience in software engineering and 3 years in native mobile application development.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Rx, MVVM, and Android Architecture Components.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience leading teams and managing technical projects, with a knack for mentoring.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent communication skills complemented by a growth and learning mindset.
  • Analytical Thinker: Ability to make strategic decisions based on data and industry trends.

Nice To Have

  • Familiarity with functional programming concepts.
  • Experience with Room, Espresso, OkHttp/Retrofit, and Maps SDK.
