Responsibilities:

  • Build and own your book of business day one, CEO minded
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and recommend appropriate insurance coverage options for clients based on their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including policy details and claims history.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate coverage terms and pricing on behalf of clients.
  • Keep up-to-date on industry trends and changes in insurance laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell insurance products to existing clients and new prospects.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and increase brand awareness within the community.
  • Manage book of business utilizing CRM.
  • Manage and train a team of insurance agents and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or a related field preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, underwriting, or related fields.
  • Active insurance license(s) required (can provide path to licensing)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Has capital to invest in their business.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience managing and training other agents or support staff a plus.
