Responsibilities:
- Build and own your book of business day one, CEO minded
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and recommend appropriate insurance coverage options for clients based on their unique needs and circumstances.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including policy details and claims history.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate coverage terms and pricing on behalf of clients.
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and changes in insurance laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide valuable insights to clients.
- Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell insurance products to existing clients and new prospects.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and increase brand awareness within the community.
- Manage book of business utilizing CRM.
- Manage and train a team of insurance agents and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or a related field preferred, but not required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, underwriting, or related fields.
- Active insurance license(s) required (can provide path to licensing)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Has capital to invest in their business.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience managing and training other agents or support staff a plus.
