Administrative Assistant

Capital Area Pediatrics offers accessible, comprehensive pediatric care to families at five practice locations throughout Northern Virginia. For both sickness and health, generations of families have chosen Capital Area Pediatrics to provide outstanding care and an exceptional patient experience. We are currently hiring an **Administrative Assistant** for our corporate office located in Oakton, Virginia. The Administrative Assistant will coordinate and perform a variety of administrative activities to support Executive and HR Leadership.

In This Role You Will

  • Provide administrative support for CEO/Executive Director and Director of Administration
  • Maintain office supplies to include monitoring inventory, ordering, and distribution
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment
  • Compose correspondence, create presentations/reports as needed to support leadership
  • Support appropriate set up and coordination of meetings
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for onsite and virtual meetings/events
  • Order vaccinations
  • Deposit checks
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets as assigned
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of departmental documents
  • Provide administrative support for the implementation of new technology
  • Coordinate and/or complete other duties and projects as assigned

**Experience Requirements**

  • At least two years of administrative experience in a professional office environment preferred
  • Experience managing office inventory and completing purchase orders preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Seniority level
