Accounting Assistant / Payroll Tax Accounting Assistant

Job Description

  • The main responsibility of this position will be preparing company state and local payroll tax returns by examining tax accounts and computing tax returns according to prescribed tax rates, laws, and regulations.
  • This includes analyzing tax payments to ensure they are timely and accurate.
  • This position will also assist with the daily mail distribution and weekly mailing of returns and checks.
