Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of bookkeeping tasks utilizing the firm's accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, posting manual and imported journal entries, reviewing and reconciling accounts, compiling reports, and preparing routine tax filings.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Post manual and imported journal entries accurately.
• Review and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Compile financial reports and prepare routine tax filings.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data.
• Utilize attention to detail and problem-solving skills to manage financial data effectively.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Organize and manage time efficiently to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.
  
  

**Qualifications:**

• A 4-year BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university, plus 2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience; or
• 5+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
