Accountant

Our client is a healthcare technology firm. They seek an Accountant to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial operations, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
• Handle month-end close processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting
• Maintain accounts for deferred revenue, accrued liabilities, and fixed assets
• Review the general ledger periodically and address outstanding items
• Complete ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of AP, AR, and Accounting experience
• Experience in a startup environment is preferred
• Basic knowledge of US GAAP
• Keen attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to multitask and resolve complex problems
• Skilled in Excel, Sage Intacct, and Rippling
