Nassau County Youth Board

Board member:
-Oversaw and helped allot funding of all county-financed youth programs for two years.
Youth Adult Participation Project (YAPP):
-Focused on peer-to-peer outreach about social issues by creating workshops and informational pamphlets which were brought into schools. I was a group adviser in my second and third years.

I started out as a volunteer for the organization in 2010, helping to organize events and support the New York Chapter. I went on to help re-found Northwestern University's chapter, of which I was co-President. I have been the New York chapter Secretary since moving back to the city in 2013.

I began as a general member of Rainbow Alliance and was elected to represent the group in Associated Student Government in winter 2010. I went on to become the group's co-President for two terms and eventually left as Princess of Vibe (an advisory role for incoming board members). I helped organize events and served as a spokesperson for the group.
