“I was fortunate enough to have been partnered with Zach through the Seattle Indies mentorship program. From the very beginning, Zach went out of his way to make time for me in his schedule. Zach has been a guiding hand throughout my journey of getting into the industry. He started by learning about myself, my past work experiences and career goals. He then helped with resume reviews and interview preparations. Provided insight and was a sounding board for me after getting my first role in the industry. It's clear that Zach genuinely cares about the people he mentors. With my conversations with him, it was always clear that what was best for me and my career, was always his first priority. He will often call out red flags on job postings and stress that the right fit is always preferrable to any fit. After our meetings, it is common for Zach to share multiple resources about the topic of our conversation. This is a great way for me to learn at my own pace, as well as being exposed to different points of views and thought processes. Not just Zach's. I can't thank Zach enough for all that he has done for me over these past few years. I look forward to our future conversations and his insight as I continue my career in the video game industry.”
