“To Whom it May Concern Trish Ruffino served as my direct supervisor and Walgreen’s Store Manager from 2012-2016, where under her leadership I was promoted to Assistant Store Manager trainee, and further on. As a Store Manager, Trish was responsible for managing payroll, discussing benefits and health plans with all team members, processing and verifying documentation, reviewing monthly statements and reconciling accounts, along with other typical HR duties. Her organization skills and promptness in implementing new policies provided by the HR department and working with HR whenever implementation ran into a snag improved employee morale and store management in ways other Store Managers would not put in the effort to do. The employees were very fond of her and she always expressed real care for their well-being. It is Trish’s passion, interpersonal skills, and her diligent work ethic that set her apart from other Store Managers that I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Trish provided the same level of enthusiasm and energy every day, and she made sure her employees were well taken care of and a part of the unit, so I recommend her highly. Every birthday and work anniversaries were remembered and celebrated with homemade cookies or brownies. As a Store Manager, it was her mission to implement HR initiatives on the ground floor, making her the most qualified person to determine what policies work, and which need improvement before implementation.
